I think I know the answer to this, but I just wanted to make sure from the experts on this forum.
Do we need to apply for new EAD/AP if we change jobs using AC21 even if the current EAD/AP (approved when working for the GC sponsoring employer) are valid for almost 10 more months?
I think that EAD/AP are not dependent/tied to the employer.
Am I right gurus?

I understand that when we re-enter the country using AP we will be given I-94 with the validity period just like that of AP.

Hi,
I need advice from Gurus who have experience or gone through this. I am on H1B with pending I485 and i got married recently. My spouse is on H4.
I have been looking for a job and my employers want to hire me on EAD. If i use EAD, then my wife will be out of status.
Other option is for my wife to get into F1 status.
1. How easy to change the status from H1 to F1?
2. Should i wait to use my EAD till my wife's F1 status gets approved?
3. If the change of status gets denied, will there any problem to her H4 status?
4. Will there be any problem if i add my wife (Assuming she is on F1) to pending I485?

Below is my situation;
Last project ended July 17 and am out of project since then and my last pay check was for the week of July 17. I was sent a termination letter and my employer said that he will not revoke my H1B and told me to transfer my H1B ASAP. I have been trying to do a H transfer from then on but no company is willing to do since I don't have a project and every one told to find a project first.
Finally I found a project but now employers are not willing to do a transfer saying that I don't have pay stubs for almost two and half months. A few employers are suggesting to file a new H1B.
What would be the best course of actions in my situation.

I 'm on H1-B visa already max out and got the extension for 7 th year based on perm pending.
Petition is going to expire in Sep 2011 and last week my perm got denied.
My employer is going to appeal for the perm and also going to apply H1B extension.
Also I got an offer from other employer waited long time for this exiting offer. Not sure what are my options now , is it possible to take the new opportunity or should I stick with my current employer to deal with this issue?
Looking for suggestions ASAP , thanks

The questions is, if i have an approved I-140 from Company A and I switch over to Company B, then would i be able to file my 485 based on 140 related to Company A when my PD for Labor (company A) becomes current.

Question: Can person A on an H1B start own business while continuing to work with current H1B job? Can the business be not related to ones profession? Can a person on H4 visa start his won business too? Any answer is appreciated!
